This course is designed to provide basic knowledge of pharmacology for students entering the Medical Assisting profession. Those employed in the Medical Assisting profession are responsible for providing the necessary information to patients regarding the safe administration of medications, their side effects as well as drug interactions. Principles of drug administration will be covered in Medical Assisting Principles II.
