Medical Assistant Principles

This course is designed to offer the student the necessary theory and lab practice to become a competent Medical Assistant in entry-level administrative and clinical procedure skills. In addition to basic clinical and administrative skills, areas covered will include interpersonal relationships, communications skills, legal and ethical issues as well as the disease process. Application of microbiological principles will be included throughout the course to emphasize infection control.
