Medical Computer Applications

Prerequisite: MED 201 Anatomy & Physiology, MED 202 Medical Terminology, MED 203 Introduction to Medical Billing

This is an interactive competency-based approach to learning computerized management in the medical office.  Students learn how to perform numerous computer tasks such as entering patient information, scheduling appointments, completing the billing cycle and processing insurance claims.  Both manual and electronic data entry will be covered.
