Prerequisite:  MA-114A Medical Terminology, MA-115B Computer Applications

This course was developed to introduce the student to the transcription process. Areas of study will cover the use of transcription equipment, reference materials, legal issues, patient confidentiality, grammar, proofreading, and listening skills. In addition, students will attend lectures and lab practice, with ample time to complete all assignments.
