Prerequisite: MED 201 Anatomy & Physiology, MED 202 Medical Terminology, MED 203 Introduction to Medical Billing

This course is designed to provide a basic knowledge of pharmacology for students entering the medical billing profession.  The basic medical therapies, their indications and contradictions in managing illness and disease will be covered.  Both prescription and nonprescription medications are discussed.
