A study of the “language of the law” with emphasis on spelling, pronunciation and definitions of key legal words and phrases, abbreviations, symbols and legal reference materials. The application and importance of legal terminology will be emphasized with respect to attorney-client relations, contracts and agreements, criminal and civil litigation and court procedures.
