This course covers the behavior of metals and their alloys, polymers, ceramics, and composite materials. The effects of metal working and heat treating methods are studied to enable the student to select metals and specify their treatments effectively. Laboratory experiments are performed to demonstrate the properties and structures of various engineering materials
