Auto Body
This two-year program is offered to students interested in a career in auto body fender repair and refinishing. Students work on their own cars and ARE REQUIRED TO FURNISH SOME OF THEIR OWN MATERIALS.

First Year
AB01 Auto Body:
Introduction to Shop Practices.
The student will straighten small dents using a metal file, pick hammer
and dollies. They will also prepare and apply body filler and smooth auto
body surfaces.

Second Year
AB03 Major Auto Body Repairs
and Frame Alignments.
The student will repair major body damage and manipulate the pull
dozer to repair unibody and conventional frames.

AB04 Auto Body Refinishing.
The student will use paint shop materials, spraying equipment, solve
paint problems and learn safety rules of painting.

ELECTRICAL TRADES
This four-year program is for both the person planning a career in the
electrical trades or someone who wants further expertise in the
commerical, industrial or residential electrical fields.

First Year
ET01 Electrical Trades: Introduction to DC Principles
and Blueprint Reading I.
The student will learn to calculate volts, amps and resistance of simple
DC circuits. An introduction to residential blueprints and the National
Electrical Code will also be offered.

Second Year
ET03 Electrical Trades: AC Principles.
The student will become proficient in AC circuits, single phase and three
phase, as they relate to transformers, motors, generators and motor
generator control systems.

Third Year
ET05 Three Phase Circuits I.
The student will become proficient in three phase transformers, relays,
motors, generators, industrial wiring and blueprint reading.

Fourth Year
ET07 Solid State Circuits.
The student will be able to explain the operation of various
semiconductor devices, digital logic and circuits and become proficient
in trouble-shooting procedures. The student will also begin studying for
the Journeyperson’s License Exam.
