How to Apply for Admission
Prospective students may apply for admission by submitting the completed application form and a check or money order made payable to Somerset County Technology Institute for the application fee. Students will be contacted by the Office of Student Services to schedule an orientation and admission testing appointment. All programs require pre-admission testing. Upon completion of the prospective student's application, and assuming he/she is qualified, the student will be accepted into the Technology Institute.The student must arrange to have official high school/college transcripts or a copy of the student's high school equivalency forwarded to the office of student services. When to Apply
Prospective students seeking a diploma or certificate apply for admission for either the Fall or Spring semester. The Fall semester begins in early September. The Spring semester starts in mid-January. Applying for admission as early as possible is to the student's advantage as this provides the greatest opportunity for admission to the applicant's choice of program, courses, and class schedule. However, applications will be considered up to the start of classes.
Conditional Admission
All admission decisions are conditional and subject to submission of all required documentation, satisfaction of admission requirements, satisfaction of placement requirements, and demonstration of the ability to succeed in post-secondary courses.

Student Services
The office of student services is located on the first floor of the Institute. the staff will provide assistance to students regarding all aspects of Academics such as: Admissions,Registration and student records.
Student Work Limitation
It is strongly recommended that full-time day program students limit there outside work to 15-20 hours per week.
